Geek Mentality

A Short & Sweet Review:

Very happy to see The Walking Dead return last night. Picking up right where it left off before their hiatus - last night we saw how “The Barn Incident” affected Herschel, how it’s affecting the other’s outlook not only on Shane - but on their lives as a whole.

And we saw Rick Grimes, without even a hint of a flinch, prove that he will do ANYTHING to keep his family (and those in his group) safe.

Even though I read the comic book, this show has proven that it will go in different directions and not just rehash stories that some of us have already read.

And because of that, and because of the fantastic acting - I am psyched to see where they’re going to take us for the rest of the season!

As the dawn of the new Fall season is upon us (Sons of Anarchy started with a bang this week), I’ve already talked about the shows I am looking forward to returning - but there are some new shows out there that I am “excited” about checking out.

Oh - and let me apologize for the cheesy “dawn” analogy with the photo, but I couldn’t think of anything else. I thought maybe something like a new “delivery,” but when I typed that into Google Images I got a lot more than I was bargained for - so the sunrise is what we’re stuck with.
